When it comes to cyberculter I do not have a clue about it. I do not get on line and go into chat rooms so I will not have a lot to write about. First I don't even have a my space account or a facebook account. The only reason I have a blogger account is for English pretty sad. When some people go into chat rooms how do you know who your really talking to? When children have my space accounts why are some parents not worried about pedifiles trying to talk to them? We have so many way's of comunicating in todays society other than the telephone or in person there is just so many things that can go wrong. In class we discussed how people get more personal online than in person. How do we know that who we are communicating with? Is that person really themselves or someone trying to be sombodyelse? anybody can go online looking for a date and give you a picture of sombodyelse and say that's them. People can tell you anything you may want to hear and you start to beleive what they are saying when in realitythey can be as I wrote before a pedifile looking for young children, drug dealers, even criminals. I don't understand how some people can say it gets more personal online or in chat rooms when we don't even know 100% that person even exsits in the real world. From what I just wrote people can see my veiws on cyberculter. I do not agree with it!!

popular culture blog
How has popular culture shaped my life.Well when I was little my mom could not afford to buy all the cool popular things. So I got teased by other kids, pretty cruel to do to a kid. It still happens today with young kids. When I got a job at 16 and realized how much the cool things cost I was not interested in it anymore. I bought stuff from other stores and got more for less. I am into popular music always have been. I went through the tight as skin jeans stage. I am now 34 years old and todays popular clothes are raunchy. Stores are trying to sell hoochy mama clothes for little girls and some parents are buying them then wondering why other people are staring at her daughters. Most of the popular clothes I would never wear even if I had the body for them. I do not see how jeans that show your underwear or the crack of your butt is cool. Some of the fashions that were popular when I was a child are making a repeat appearance. So are some toy's making a comeback. I guess popular culture has not made a good impression on me. I can handle the tight jeans I used to wear them even low cut shirts but the jeans going down to your knees needs to go . I do not want to see someone else's underwear thong!!!
